We Can Turn This Around- Can't We?

Lately, I am quite grateful that my mortgage is up to date and my house is still worth more than I owe. My husband sent me the link to this clip and it truly hit me hard in the heart. Watch and you'll see:

I feel sorry for those who got caught up in this mess. This so called "bailout" bill is not going to help the homeowner in trouble. The bill is basically only going to help the banks. It is a shame that we are now relying on those who let this mess happen! Where is the bailout for the homeowner in trouble?
I know we will fix this! We Americans are a strong people! We have to work together to find our own solution!

I think this affirmation will work for this situation:
"There is plenty for everyone, including me. The ocean of life is lavish with its abundance. All my needs and desires are met before I even ask. My good comes from everywhere and everyone and everything."

What is your solution? Let's make a collection of ideas to help eachother out!

Good morning LITeacher,

Wow, that video made me cry. This is all so sad. What is happening in CA will also start to happen throughout the US am afraid. There is not an easy solution, not at this point. We are so far gone that we're like a runaway train unable to stop until it crashes.

Yes, affirmations will help and focusing on all that IS good will help, but at a time like this, when we are all affected in some way, it is difficult to really believe the affirmations ans so they will not work. See, this is why many of us don't trust or believe that we create our own reality. When in fact, somewhere along the line, we became lax, and then fearful. So what we see now is the fear in all of us being manifest.

If we really trust that we create our reality, then we must really believe that we do so. And at least for ourselves, the national crisis will not be an issue.

Meanwhile..we must be wary of who we vote into office (not that there is much choice) we must also be cognizant of laws that are passed. We have been very lax in this area since 9/11 and have allowed greedy gov't officials to pass laws which are detrimental to the people of the USA.

The American public should ALL have a look at the video you posted. It might help to wake some of us up.

Hi Lydia,
You have such a poignant comment and very, very, true! I do believe the affirmations keep us strong and rid our fear. I don't think we should panic and not act on fear. I agree that now is the time for us all to be more CONSCIOUS of our lives and especially of who we elect into office. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog.
I like your blog very much. I plan on going back to read more.

Hi Maureen

It is hard to know what to say in these times as the people affected must be in great despair.

I just hope that they can find some good that comes of it although I imagine it would be very difficult to see any right now.

Thanks for the post(s). I like your attitude! And, I agree reality is fluid and we can create our own, individually and collectively. Keep up the good work!
