Isn't it crazy to think that something we do or say can have such a negative or positive effect on another person. Our voices are powerful and we should use them with caution..(ha-ha) That's kind of hard to do sometimes though. BTW, julieanne..I think Australian accents are awesome!!!!!M. There is a book on the mark...What a wonderful post. There is a book on the market called "words that hurt, words that heal" The book is all about our words and how they can and do affect others. Just an example, someone spends weeks planning a party. They invest hours preparing, cooking etc. Then a guest leaves and says "oh the floor was dirty" How hurtful to the person who spent so much time working and planning. Words can and do hurt. This book really left me being more careful about my words.AudreyOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13674641559102984186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2071166449943688716.post-3457261111096868702008-09-11T20:41:00.000-04:002008-09-11T20:41:00.000-04:00To Small Footprints,I'm glad you liked the post. I do wonder however, if the English find my strong Australian accent a 'joyful noise' :)

JulieanneRev.
